Israel’s Surveillance for Epstein, Isis Brides and Andrew got jailed | Scam of the week by Michael West

Click on Michael West'Prince Andrew finally gets arrested, or at least the story is being sold that way, and the media instantly does what it always does, turns a system story into a celebrity spectacle. Meanwhile, back in Australia, we have offshore property being marketed here, alleged illegal land sales dressed up as aspiration, and regulators who suddenly develop selective hearing. And then there are the ISIS brides, the perfect panic headline, deployed like a smoke bomb right when you might start asking harder questions about power, money, influence, and who really gets protected. This is Scam of the Week.'

Monarchy In TURMOIL As Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor ARRESTED by Owen Jones

Click on Owen Jones 'Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, formerly Prince Andrew, Duke of York, the younger brother of King Charles III, and the favorite son of the late Queen Elizabeth II, has been arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office, and his home in Norfolk has been raided by the British police. The British monarchy is in its biggest crisis since the abdication of King Edward VII in 1936.To recap, the former prince was stripped of his royal title last year because of his long-standing close friendship with the late American paedophile Jeffrey Epstein, who allegedly died from suicide in 2019 while in prison awaiting trial. That centered on accusations against him of sexual assault against Virginia Giuffre, who died of suicide nearly a year ago. Mountbatten-Windsor has consistently denied those allegations. A settlement had been agreed back in 2022 in which Mount Batin Windsor reportedly paid Giuffre somewhere between 10 and 12 million. It was reported last week that the late Queen paid up to 7 million towards that settlement with the estate of the late Prince Philip paying up to3 million and 1.5 million being paid by the then Prince Charles now the king of the country with other royals contributing too. Bear in mind that this, as we'll talk about,…'

Hate Speech Laws Are Here, And They’re Already Being Weaponised |The West Report by Michael West

Click on Michael West 'From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free. What is art, and what is hate? Just ask the police! Free speech, hate speech, and a brand new set of laws that look a lot less like “social cohesion” and a lot more like State Powers to Hammer Thy Enemies. This week alone, three flashpoints lit up at once, a satirical tweet lands a bloke in jail, a far right agitator is prosecuted, and Canberra police raid a cafe over protest art on the wall. So who decides what counts as “hate”, police on the spot, politicians in Canberra, or the courts, and why do some voices cop the full force of the state while others skate on national television.'

The Party Line on how the Palestine movement turned the table on Herzog and Albanese by by Anneke Demanuele, Omar Sherrife & Jordan van den Lamb with Jasmine Duff

Click on Episode 25 -The Party Line on how the Palestine movement turned the tables on Herzog and Albanese The gang brought Jasmine Duff back on to talk about the incredible week of protest that we’ve just had. Anthony Albanese, Penny Wong and co thought they could tour around the President of Israel as if he hadn’t just been involved in a genocide, but they were proven wrong, thanks to the actions of tens of thousands of people across Australia, who took to the streets in big numbers. We discuss the national spread, the aftermath of the police riot in Sydney, the despicable commentary of Karl Stefanovic (Australia’s answer to Tucker Carlson), and how people refused to be intimidated out of protesting this monster. Minns's Police Riot 9-2-26 by John Tognolini

……“I’d throw myself down on a reasonable person’s interpretation of the circumstances in Sydney streets last night, it was an impossible situation,” Minns said on Tuesday.

“We had to keep the public safe, and as distressing as those scenes were, it would have been far worse if it was … choosing your own adventure, [if] the protesters breached police lines and we had conflict in Sydney streets. That would have been terrible.”……

The prime minister, Anthony Albanese, defended Herzog’s visit and called on people to “turn the temperature down”. He told parliament that violent footage of Monday’s protest was “devastating”.

“Many people who saw the footage, particularly of the people who were praying and then action was taken, will want to know all of the circumstances around that. I will allow the police to do their job.”…..

Chris Minns defends police in ‘impossible situation’ after video emerges of officers punching protesters in Sydney,

 The Guardian, 10-2-2026

I was there at the Gadigal/Sydney Anti-Herzog Rally on Monday 9-2-2026, and I breathed in the Capsicum Spray. Journalist Michael West said of this historical landmark in Australian Politics, 'This is Chris Minns telling people not to believe the videos that…of his police bashing people up, including an elderly woman whose spine they broke in four places. And how many people did they hospitalise?' He quoted George Orwell from 1984, here is the full quote from me, and I remember the first time I read it at in 1974 at Naarm/Melbourne's Brunswick Boys Technical School

'‘The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command. His heart sank as he thought of the enormous power arrayed against him, the ease with which any Party intellectual would overthrow him in debate, the subtle arguments which he would not be able to understand, much less answer. And yet he was in the right! They were wrong and he was right. The obvious, the silly, and the true had got to be defended. Truisms are true, hold on to that! The solid world exists, its laws do not change. Stones are hard, water is wet, objects unsupported fall towards the earth's centre. With the feeling that he was speaking to O'Brien, and also that he was setting forth an important axiom, he wrote:‘The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. With the feeling that he was speaking to O'Brien, and also that he was setting forth an important axiom, he wrote:

Freedom is the freedom to say that two plus two make four. If that is granted, all else follows.’

George Orwell 1984

I've seen the ALP do some pretty bad things, over the years going back to Bob Hawke. But it' became the party from George Orwell's 1984 on 9-2-2026. And my ALP Blue Mountains  MP,Trish Doyle is reading off the script from Minns. I've lost all respect for her after seeing her waffle on about 'social cohesion' on Blue Mountains Political Forum on Facebook. And I'm saying this as someone who had a lot of respect for her over the years, including being on many NSW Teacher Federation delegations to her office on behalf of my fellow teachers, including our successful salary campaign and public education.

With my retirement from teaching, I've returned to journalism and wrote this here. A major part of journalism is good research, and I've been doing that with reactivating my blog. With its reactivation, I’ve been posting YouTube vodcasts and other podcasts. I've gone through Minns's Police Riot on Monday, 9-2-26.  All my posts are under the label on this are labelled under Mossad Minns's Police State  and it includes: from Michael West Media: Michael West, Joshua Barnett, Zack Scho, from Crikey: Crikey’s legal correspondent, Michael Bradley talking to Crystal Andrews, We Used to Be Journos: Jan Fran and Antoinette Lattouf, and Antony Loewenstein as well as my Comrades in the Socialist Party/ Vic & NSW Socialists, with The Party Line: Anneke Demanuele, Jordan van den Lamb, Omar Sherrife & Josh Lees & Red Flag Radio with Chloe Rafferty & Emma Norton.

The historical significance of Minns's Police Riot has been compared to the NSW Liberal Party's Premier Robert 'Run The Bastards Over' Askin, with US president Lyndon Baines Johnson's visit to Sydney in 1966. However, Askin nor any of the other Liberal or National Party state premiers of that era never attacked their citizens en masse with the police against the massive demonstrations opposed to the Vietnam War. The various state premiers were violent during the 1971 Apartheid Selected South African Rugby Springbok Tour against Anti-Apartheid activists. Although these were big protests, they were not the massive size of the Anti-Vietnam Moratorium Marches.

It's also been compared to Queensland National Party Premier Joh Bjelke-Petersen's ban on Street marches in Brisbane in 1977. I was at one of those demos in 1977, but the Queensland Police did not do the widespread violence and bashings that we witnessed on Monday Night in Gadigal/Sydney. Mossad Minns wanted a Square Up with us over the success of the Harbour Bridge March last year, and he let the Cops of the leash to do it with their Kettling, the tactic of making cordon around people for hours, Mass charges of Police throwing people to the ground, Riding Horses into people, Bashing and Capsicum Spraying En Masse, all against NSW Citizens who don't approve of Israel’s Genocide in Gaza of at least 70,000 Palestinians, Over twenty thousand of them children. For what? To appease Herzog, a major player in this Genocide and a man who should face charges in the ICC for his role in it. Minns, the Police Minister and Police Commissioner, must be sacked for the 9-2-26 Sydney Police Riot.'

Yes, George was right. 'Freedom is the freedom to say that two plus two make four. If that is granted, all else follows.'

A Charity Promoting Settlement Property Sales? | The West Report by Josh Barnett and Stephanie Tran

Click on Josh 'An Israeli real estate roadshow is being marketed to Australians in Sydney and Melbourne, pitching buy-ins and “investment” opportunities in West Bank settlements which the United Nations says have no legal validity under international law. We trace the booking funnel through Noam Homes and Selling Israel, look at the settlement locations being advertised, and ask what role Australian based promoters played, including the Australian Jewish Association, which promoted the Sydney event as a “partnership”. We put questions to Noam Homes, the AJA, the ACNC and ASIC. At the time of recording, key questions remain unanswered. #auspol Read the full report by Josh Barnett and Stephanie Tran on Michael West Media.

Attacks on Francesca Albanese and Grace Tame | New Liberal leader Angus Taylor's immigration lines by Antoinette Lattouf and Jan Fran

In this episode, we lay out the parallels between political attacks on a UN Special Rapporteur on the Occupied Palestinian Territories and a former Australian of the Year, and how large chunks of the media swallowed both with minimal scrutiny. We also share insider context and discuss how “harmful” reporting by the Canberra Times forced First Nations commissioner Vanessa Turnbull Roberts to go public about her sexual assault. Plus, why Angus Taylor’s media blitz is a harbinger for what’s to come in the “debate” about immigration. Responding to Etterati calls for ‘It’s A Yes From Me’, Antoinette singles out The Guardian’s excellent roundup of the sharpest insults politicians have lobbed at each other. Police riot in Sydney to defend war criminal Isaac Herzog by Chloe Rafferty & Emma Norton

Click on to 'Chloe & Emma talk about the police riot in Sydney orchestrated by Chris Minns. We talk about what this event reveals about the police, the Australian Labor Party and the Australian ruling classes' commitment to Israel.'

The Antony Loewenstein Podcast: What the Media Won't Say About The Israeli President's Visit by Antony Loewenstein

Click on Antony Loewenstein This week on the Antony Loewenstein Podcast, we examine the controversial Australian visit of Israeli President Isaac Herzog: why he came, how the visit was framed, and why it triggered protests across the country.

Publicly positioned as a gesture of solidarity following the Bondi massacre, Herzog’s trip quickly became a flashpoint in Australia’s already tense debate around Israel, Palestine, and media narratives. Antony unpacks Herzog’s political record and public statements, the way he is portrayed in Western media, and the broader context of Israel’s war in Gaza. He also examines how the visit was covered by Australian outlets, whose voices were amplified or ignored, and why tens of thousands of Australians took to the streets in Sydney, Melbourne, and Canberra. The episode explores allegations surrounding Herzog’s rhetoric, the political calculations behind the visit, and the Australian government’s response, including questions around protest rights, policing, and the language of “social cohesion.” More broadly, this conversation looks at how diaspora communities are positioned in public discourse, and what this moment reveals about power, protest, and dissent in modern Australia.

The Chomsky–Epstein Scandal: What Was He Thinking? Owen Jones

Click on Owen Jones 'What the hell was Noam Chomsky thinking? The world's most influential Left-Wing public intellectual. Had a massive impact on me as a teenager, and I'm sure many of you as well. You know, he was someone who fearlessly exposed the horrors of American Imperialism for decades. But Chomsky's been implicated in the hideous scandal involving the late paedophile Jeffrey Epstein. He struck up a friendship with him after Epstein had already been in prison for soliciting sex with a minor. He repeatedly spent time with him, including at Epstein's townhouse, his apartment, his ranch. Chomsky spent time with Steve Bannon, the far-right former chief strategist uh to Donald Trump, thanks to Epstein. There's a picture of them, you know, kind of being all jovial together. When Epstein came under scrutiny for allegations of sex trafficking in 2019, he asked Chomsky for advice on how to respond.

And Chomsky said the following.

'I've watched the horrible way you are being treated in the press and public. It's painful to say, but I think the best way to proceed is to ignore it. What the vultures dearly want is a public response, which then provides a public opening for an onslaught of venomous attacks, many from just publicity seekers or cranks of all sorts. That's particularly true now with the hysteria that has developed about abusive women, which has reached the point that even questioning a charge is a crime worse than murder.'

I mean, just disgusting to be honest and unforgivable. I mean, even if you, you know, those comments are outrageous. even if you just taken out the contextof the Jeffrey Epstein scandal. I'm shocked and appalled personally to witness someone who was a hero to my younger self um and someone a hero to those who believe in justice and a better world implicated in this outrageous scandal. But it is important not to shy away from difficult topics. I want to understand what the hell happened here. So I talked to the anthropologist Chris Knight who has written about Chomsky for many decades including the book Decoding Chomsky to try and work out how this could possibly have happened. Now Chris, you've been researching Nam Chomsky for decades. You've you've written a book on it. You've written lots of including recent work for example um on the revelations to do with the late pedophile Jeffrey v. Now, many of us were absolutely shocked and appalled, baffled, if I'm honest. Found the whole thing completely and utterly surreal. Peter Mandlesson and Jeffrey Epstein,an imagine that. Prince Andrew, a Jeffrey Epstein, can imagine that. 'Noam Chomsky. It just seemed like a kind of writer's room on a TV show had just taken a bizarre turn and randomly inserted a completely, you know, out there character who had nothing to do with that world in our heads into the whole scenario. It just it was just so shocking because I think people often associate…..,'

Palestine Action HUMILIATE Government In High Court by Owen Jones

Click on Owen Jones And who says there's no justice in thislife? This is a historic day. A truly historic day. And in the last over two years now of Israel's genocide against the Palestinian people, there have been so many who have fought very courageously and who have been arrested, deplatformed, you know, lives ruined, people deported in the United States.

Today, Palestine Action, according to the h the high court of of this country, their prescription as a terrorist organization on the same legal footing as ISIS and all the rest has been ruled to be unlawful, a catastrophic defeat for the government uh whose law has dragged thousands of people through the justice system being arrested, others of course who have been dragged through the courts. There's no better person to speak to than the co-founder um of Palestinian Action Huda Ammori.

What Israeli President Isaac Herzog’s visit tells us about “social cohesion” Crystal Andrews talks with Crikey’s legal correspondent Michael Bradley

Click on Crystal Andrews 'Prime Minister Anthony Albanese continued to maintain this week that Israeli President Isaac Herzog was formally invited to Australia by the federal government tohelp foster “a greater sense of unity” and as a comfort to the Jewish community, still reeling from the Bondi Beach terrorist attack. But it was clear from the outset that there was also real anger from people — including Jewish people — over the government hosting an individual cited by the UN Commission as "directly and publicly incited the commission of genocide in contravention of Article III(c) of the Genocide Convention". Nationwide protests against Herzog’s presence kicked off in Sydney, with violent clashes between police and protesters making global headlines. Crikey’s legal correspondent Michael Bradley joins the podcast to explain whether hosting Herzog is a breach of international law, why the Sydney protest was not “illegal”, and how instances of alleged police brutality connect to the special powers granted to NSW Police. If the Albanese government’s goal is to calm public tensions — as he keeps insisting — did Herzog’s visit help or hurt?'

Click on Jan Fran and Antoinette Lattouf"Now for the big one: a deep dive into the Australian media's warm treatment of Israeli president Isaac Herzog in the lead up to nationwide protests — and its coverage of the police brutality at the Sydney rally after. We look at how two networks asked very different questions and note the outlets that dutifully repeated government lines even as footage showed police violence in plain sight. We also look at what was missing from most of the coverage — because yep, there was a lot."

Lowkey Absolutely DEMOLISHES the Media on Mandelson Epstein Scandal by Lowkey

Click on Lowkey Peter Mandelson, was in bed with an Israeli asset. No one in the media asked him that question. How many other politicians are either Israeli assets themselves or have similar types of relationships that Peter Benjamin Mandelson, had and are on a daily basis not being asked about it by people who are paid to hold these politicians to account. This is a scandal of massive proportions. The politicians are trying to blame the media. He'd been prominent in the media as a broadcaster writing in newspapers. He was continued to be given that platform and respectability. The media are trying to blame the politicians. There were plenty of people around Kier Stamer who were saying, "We know about Mandelson's relationship to Epstein." Bad idea, Kier. It's a bad idea, K. The fact is both sides of that equation are guilty.

Epstein And Israel: THE TRUTH Revealed Owen Jones with Murtaza Hussain

Click on Owen Jones 'Was Jeffrey Epstein a MOSAD agent? This has all been lost, not unsurprisingly. There's lots of vested interests who don't want us to have this conversation. I think it's time to talk about this given the whole Jeffrey Epstein saga is kind of bringing down the British government at the moment. There's been quite a lot of discussion about Russia um and his potential, I guess, links to the Russian intelligence agencies, but what about Israel? Uh this is a conversation that needs to be had. There's no better person to speak to about this than Mataza Hussein from the amazing Josai News who has been doing these incredible pieces actually about Israel and Jeffrey Epstein just just unbelievable exposees of what was going on and his involvement.'

Is Richard Branson Threatening Me Over Epstein Files? by Francesca Fiorentini

Click on Francesca Fiorentini "Looks like someone is getting nervous about the Epstein Files. Richard Branson’s people sent us a threatening email because we accurately pointed out that he is in those files… On last week’s show with Gareth Reynolds, we discussed the most recent dump of files that had come out. Wouldn’t you know it, Branson showed up in a number of Jeff’s emails. There is also a picture of the two men together that came out. Now, this doesn’t necessarily mean Richard is guilty of any crimes, and we never said he was. But then we got an email from Branson’s press department that told us there would be serious consequences for reporting inaccurate information. We never accused Branson of grave wrongdoing in that episode, merely what his emails to Epstein suggest: that he was giving advice to Epstein on how to get out of his many assault allegations. Yet getting an email like this certainly makes him look scared. Why would you be scared if you haven’t done anything wrong, Rich? Anyway, here is Virgin Groups statement again: “Any contact Richard and Joan Branson had with Epstein took place on only a few occasions more than twelve years ago, and was limited to group or business settings, such as a charity tennis event. When Epstein offered a charity donation, the Bransons asked their team to carry out due diligence before accepting the donation, which uncovered serious allegations. As a result of what the due diligence uncovered, Virgin Unite did not take the donation and Richard and Joan decided not to meet or speak with Epstein again. Had they had the full picture and information, there would have been no contact whatsoever – Richard believes that Epstein’s actions were abhorrent and supports the right to justice for his many victims.”

Monarchy Support COLLAPSES In Bombshell Poll - As Epstein Scandal EXPOSES Truth by Owen Jones

Click on Owen Jones 'Could the Jeffrey Epstein scandal help bring down the monarchy? Well, the polling is not good for the monarchy. In fact, support for the monarchy is collapsing in Britain. You're not hearing much about this, are you? This very important polling which I think is could be existential for the monarchy given the direction it's going in. It really is quite dramatic. Um, but also the Epstein scandal and the monarchy.'

How Peter Mandelson Betrayed Britain to a Mossad Agent by Lowkey

Click on Lowkey 'Peter Mandelson was essentially number two to the prime minister of this country. Yet while in office, this individual was feeding inside sensitive information to Israeli agent Jeffrey Epstein. Mandelson emailed Epstein informing him that a 500 billion euro bailout was almost complete and would be finalized that evening. He also confirmed that the British government was going to sell off many of its assets. We have words for people like this traitors. It was obvious that Peter Mandelson was compromised. Yet Kier Starmer still appointed Peter Mandelson ambassador to the United States…..'

The Party Line on Minns' police riot in Sydney by Anneke Demanuele, Omar Sherrife & Josh Lees

Click on Episode 23 The Party Line on Minns’ police riot in Sydney We know we just released an episode but politics in Australia is moving fast. Anneke attempts to take on Jordy’s role as the tech director (and fails). NSW police conducted a riot in Sydney at the demonstration against Israeli President Isaac Herzog. People were battered, punched, pepper spayed, charged and arrested. It was a violent, brutal attack on people exercising their right to protest. It was like Trump’s ICE gestapo left Minneapolis for Sydney (organised by the Labor Party!). We speak to Josh Lees from NSW Socialists and Palestine Action Group, who discusses the attempts to push back against the Minn’s government. We then talk to Ghaith Krayem, the national spokesperson for Muslim Votes Matter about the increase of Islamophobia directed at the muslim community. We finish with an argument for people to continue the movement to stand for a liberated Palestine, and an end to the genocide in Gaza. While a lot of what’s going on in the world is fairly bleak, The Party Line will try and highlight voices of resistance and struggle. Premier thanks Israel friends, bashes Australian citizens | The West Report by Michael West

Click on Michael West "Thank you friends" NSW Premier Chris Minns told Israel supporters to warm applause at the ICC dinner in Sydney. While, nearby, at the Sydney rally against Israel President Isaac Herzog, his police were about to attack peace protestors. We dissect perhaps the most ugly unprovoked attack in the history of Australian policing and the biased media reporting which is now trying to whitewash it. It should be said that the blame for the pro-Israel media circus lies, not with the reporters, but the bosses. It lies in the framing of the stories, the agendas, the headlines, the placement. #auspol Support Us here https://linktr.ee/michaelwestmedia.co...

Herzog protests & police violence | Karl Stefanovic's podcast | Bad Bunny Super Bowl radio racism Antoinette Lattouf and Jan Fran

Click on We Used To Be Journos support independent media and become a subscriber at www.ettemedia.com In this episode, we dissect the media’s coverage of Israeli President Isaac Herzog’s visit to Australia. We look at how two networks asked very different questions, analyse the warm, sympathetic coverage in the lead up and keep an eye on the outlets that dutifully repeated government lines even as footage showed police violence in plain sight. We also look at what was missing from most of the coverage. Hint: it was any mention of the genocide. Also, Australian commercial radio outs itself yet again as tacitly racist after Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl performance. And Today host Karl Stefanovic launches a podcast that winks hard at a far right audience. Plus a shout out to The Point, an independent think tank’s new publishing arm, stacked with good writers. 00:00 Intro + live show review 2:53 What’s in the show 4:45 Super Bowl Bad Bunny Aussie commercial radio racism 9:30 Fox FM tags Bad Bunny on Nandos social gag 12:41 Karl Stefanovic’s new podcast courts far right 15:50 Stefanovic and Barnaby Joyce in akubras 19:00 Breakfast TV hosts courting One Nation 24:15 Jan Fran’s overwhelm 25:20 Israeli president Isaac Herzog comes to Australia 26:36 Anti-Herzog protests 27:50 Attacks on Muslim men praying - media framing 36:00 Herzog only answered 4 reporter questions 38:15 Who gets to have an opinion? 45:00 ABC Sydney interview that rattled our listeners 51:57 ABC echoing Murdoch media 54:26 ABC Insider’s panel banality and homogeneity on Herzog 01:03:01 It’s a Yes From Us 01:05:02 How to Support Us
