To be fair, a loss for both aggressors means different things. Israel wants chaos in a state of permanent war, which means achieving a greater Israel to aggressively expand and conquer more land to colonize. Not a conspiracy theory. That's been the stated intent and aspiration not just of Israeli ministers that even mainstream media outlets call extremists like Bezalel Smotrich but the Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu. But the US already suffered strategic defeat in Iraq in Libya and particularly Afghanistan where it lost the war in the classic sense.

Its military opponent the Taliban took control of the whole country indeed ended up stronger than it did when the war began. Let's just go through why they're losing the war with Iran point by point. So by assassinating the Supreme Leader, it's clear the US in particular believed that this was a regime decapitation, that the whole system would collapse like a pack of cards. There would be defections by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and then some sort of coup. But no cracks were appearing in the regime at all. In fact, it's the opposite. The regime has rallied.'

Israel Forced The US To Attack Iran Admits Marco Rubio by Owen Jones

He just declared that the US attacked Iran because Israel bounced the US into it. Just listen to what he says here and let's discuss the implications as well as the signs that the illegal war on Iran is proving to be a disaster for the belligerents.

'Did you tell me that there was an imminent? Marco Rubio'There absolutely was an imminent threat. And the imminent threat was that we knew that if Iran was attacked and we believed they would be attacked that they would immediately come after us. And we were not going to sit sit there and absorb a blow before we responded because the Department of War assessed that if we did that, if we waited for them to hit us first after they were attacked and by someone else,

Israel attacked them, they hit us first  and we waited for them to hit us, we would suffer more casualties and more deaths. We went proactively in a defensive way to prevent them from  inflicting higher damage. Had we not done so, there would have been hearings on Capitol Hill about how we knew that this was going to happen and we didn't act preemptively to prevent more casualties and more loss of life'.

I beg your pardon. The claim here is that the US knew Israel was going to attack Iran that this would mean Iran would strike back at the US and so the US struck preemptively. A few basic points here. 

Israel is in no position to attack Iran without US support. It is entirely dependent on the US militarily in terms of aid more broadly as well as well as for diplomatic and political support. If the US told Israel it would not take part in such a war, then the war would not happen. How do we know this? Not just because of the basic facts that Israel is militarily dependent on the US, but because Israel has been agitating for this war for decades. And despite previous presidents presiding over such criminal disasters as Iraq, Afghanistan, and Libya, even they were not stupid enough to get dragged into a war with Iran. 

They had no ideological opposition to such a war, no moral opposition. They just believed quite rationally it would prove a strategic disaster for the US. And in any case, Donald Trump and his administration decided to commit to the biggest buildup in the Middle East since the 2003 invasion of Iraq. They repeatedly made clear that the US intended to attack Iran for its own reasons. That's what they said. During the protest in January, Trump declared, "Help is on its way." And on the 23rd of January, Trump posted that a massive armada is heading to Iran, declaring that time is running out. It is truly of the essence, demanding Iran make a deal, and warning that the next attack will be far worse than last year. So, we're stuck with a couple of possibilities. One is that Marco Rubio has admitted that Israel has bounced the US into a war with Iran against his will. So muchfor America first. So much for Trump renewing US strength. Making America great again. What Rubio is admittingthere is Israel first. What else is there to say? Well, Marco Rubio thinksthis whole illegal war is clearly a disaster and he's making excuses. They made us do it. Or maybe it's a combination of the two....'

He's a man who has allegations of sexual misconduct against him, inappropriate behaviour, and running a hostile workplace environment prior to joining Trump's cabinet. His tattoos associated with white supremacist subcultures led to him being flagged as an insider threat by a fellow service member personnel prior to the 2021 inauguration of Donald Trump. Let's just start with this.

This is of course an illegal war of aggression of choice as per international law. The UN charter sets that out very clearly and as per US law it's unconstitutional having notreceived the consent of Congress. Now,what the hell is this?

Is this Trump's way of bringing the quote unquote regime to the table? Even though they were in the middle of negotiations, even though hours before these strikes, the Omani foreign minister, the Omanis, for those of you who don't know, don't tend to talk very much in public. The foreign minister of Oman went on American TV and said, "You know what? The Iranians have pretty much agreed to everything the Americans want. They've gone beyond what Barack Obama got from the Iran deal." And yet, they still attacked, which everyone should keep in mind when they hear American officials saying this was about the nuclear program. A complete load of BULLSHIT! This is a huge attack. Trump called it a massive wave of attacks last night.And Tom Cotton, Senator Tom Cotton, the very hawkish Republican chair of the Intel Committee has said today, "This is an attack that won't end in days. It's going to last weeks." So, we are looking at a major attack. I've always worried that a war with Iran would make the war with Iraq look like a walk in the park. I hope I'm proven wrong. Something you said, Prem, stuck out to me, which is, you know, history's being written, but we don't know how it's going to be written. The problem we have, and I would urge all Zateo subscribers to keep this in mind who are watching right now, is the media are going to tell you all. sorts of things about who's up, who's down, who's won, who's lost. Albo said Australia "stood with the brave people of Iran in their struggle against oppression".

"We support the United States acting to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon and to prevent Iran continuing to threaten international peace and security," …
